In exercise of powers conferred by Section 92 read with Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003, (No. 36 of 2003) the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission, after previous publication, makes the following regulations, namely:

(1)             These regulations shall be called the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (Transaction of Business) Regulations, 2003.

(2)        These regulations shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official gazette.

2.         Adoption of rules of procedure The rules of procedure in regard to transaction of business by the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission laid down under the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2000 shall apply mutatis mutandis to transaction of business by the Commission under the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003.
